Job Description
The Role

As a Senior Solution Consultant, you will use your subject matter expertise to drive growth for Brandwatch and Cision, with a strong focus on Enterprise customers.

You will partner with a range of sales teams, including New Business and Account Management, to help win and grow business. This will involve understanding complex media and consumer intelligence needs, designing tailored solutions to meet them, and supporting the presentation of these solutions to clearly demonstrate their value.

As a subject matter expert, you will also contribute across the wider organization. This may include supporting the development of thought leadership content, contributing to marketing initiatives, and helping champion customer centric innovation within our product and services teams.

Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Opportunity Consulting
  • Discovery & Scoping: You will lead deep dive discovery sessions with prospective and existing customers to uncover their key marketing and communications challenges and business goals.
  • Solution Design: You will scope a blend of software and services from across our product portfolio to meet customer requirements.
  • Developing Responses: You will contribute high quality slides to RFP and opportunity responses, collaborating with the wider solutions consulting team to build relevant demos that demonstrate our value.
  • Pricing: You will build custom pricing for scopes of work based on a strong assessment of requirements. You will liaise with internal production and customer success teams to gather input, validate costs, and obtain approvals where required.
  • Pitching & Presentation: You will confidently articulate the value of our solution in customer presentations, answer questions on proposals, and act as a trusted subject matter expert.
Product & Service Knowledge
  • You will keep up to date with Brandwatch & Cision's evolving portfolio of software and service solutions (including BCR, SMM, Trajaan, Briefings, and Analysis Reporting) and help shape the combined customer proposition.
  • You will conduct regular knowledge sharing sessions with the wider solutions consulting team, sharing your expertise and learning about new offerings from others.
  • You will contribute to thought leadership materials on new services, collaborating with solutions, insights consulting, and professional services to support improved marketing activity.
Team Alignment
  • You will support the Director of Solutions Consulting in maintaining strong records and refining internal workflows, including Salesforce case queues, sample libraries, documentation, and demo creation.
  • You will develop trusted relationships with key sales representatives and leaders, particularly within Enterprise New Business and Account Management, helping to strengthen the role of solutions consulting as a key partner in go to market efforts.
  • You will embrace the MEDDPICC sales methodology, participate in training, and apply it practically to continuously improve proposals and workflows.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise pre sales, solutions consulting, or a similar customer facing role, with a strong track record of supporting complex, multi stakeholder SaaS sales cycles from discovery through to close.
  • Strong business acumen and discovery skills, with the ability to uncover customer pain points, understand decision criteria, and translate product capabilities into clear business value for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills, with a proven ability to deliver compelling, value based demos and tailored solution narratives for senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to shape deal strategy, influence outcomes, and improve win rates in competitive enterprise environments.
  • Strong analytical and technical credibility, including the ability to connect customer challenges to data, integrations, workflows, and emerging AI driven use cases relevant to modern enterprise software buyers.
