Senior Solution Architect

Cpl Recruitment are partnering with an innovative international technology organisation to hire a Senior Solution Architect to join a newly established team based in Ireland. This opportunity will suit an experienced architect who enjoys operating in a hands-on capacity, helping shape modern enterprise platforms while working closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders across multiple regions. The role will focus on driving scalable solution design, cloud transformation, platform modernisation, and the adoption of emerging technologies including AI-driven capabilities within a highly collaborative environment.

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale technology solutions across complex business initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and delivery teams to define scalable and future-focused technical architectures.
• Drive architecture decisions across cloud platforms, APIs, integrations, data flows, and distributed systems.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions align with best practices across security, resilience, scalability, and operational performance.
• Support development teams with architecture reviews, implementation guidance, and technical problem-solving.
• Contribute to ongoing platform enhancement, simplification, and modernisation initiatives.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and customers through solution walkthroughs and technical discussions.
• Assess new technologies and AI-enabled approaches to support continuous innovation and business value.

• Strong experience operating in a Solution Architect or senior Technical Architect capacity.
• Proven background delivering enterprise applications or digital platform solutions within complex environments.
• Experience designing cloud-native solutions and modern distributed architectures.
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, messaging, and event-driven integration patterns.
• Ability to work effectively across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders alike.
• Strong understanding of scalable application design, integration architecture, and enterprise systems.
• Exposure to AI-enabled technologies, orchestration frameworks, or emerging intelligent solution patterns would be advantageous.
• Previous experience within regulated or enterprise-scale industries would be beneficial.
• Degree qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

• Salary range of €115,000 - €130,000 plus 12% bonus.
