Senior Software Security Engineer

Greenhouse Project - Cloud-Based DevSecOps Environment

Contract: June 30, 2025 - June 30, 2028

Location: Eindhoven (Hybrid)

As part of the Greenhouse project, you will contribute to the foundation of a cutting-edge software delivery platform-supporting over 4,000 developers working on highly complex, mission-critical systems. This cloud-native DevSecOps environment underpins advanced technology development and must comply with the highest security standards, export control regulations, and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-team security work packages, from design to implementation, ensuring robust, compliant solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Define, communicate, and execute security roadmap initiatives, integrating secure-by-design principles throughout the full software lifecycle.
• Coach and mentor engineers and architects on cloud security concepts and secure development practices.
• Review technical designs, contribute to architectural decisions, and proactively mitigate security and compliance risks.
• Take end-to-end ownership of secure service implementations and migration efforts across critical developer tooling platforms.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Solid background in software development and IT infrastructure, particularly within large-scale engineering organizations.
• Expert-level knowledge in security architectures, controls, and secure development lifecycle (SDL) methodologies.
• Experience designing and securing enterprise or hybrid cloud environments, including services like IAM, CI/CD, and SCM.
• Hands-on experience with Bazel, GitHub Enterprise Server, GitHub Actions, and Google Cloud Platform is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with embedded software development (C/C++/Python) and RHEL environments is beneficial.
