Job Overview

We are looking for Software Engineers to join a development team based hybrid, in the Netherlands responsible for creating and delivering new additions to our product suite. As a Software Engineer, you'll be an integral part of a focused team of 3 5 software engineers together with QA, DevOps, and UX specialists. Software teams at Harver independently own domain services within our product suite and are responsible for their development, maintenance, releases, and integration.

In This Role You Get To

• Create, deploy and manage a SaaS software used by millions of people globally.
• Practice all facets of good software development: user experience, performance, scalability, security, maintainability, etc.
• Engage in the process of making software with Lean Development and Extreme Programming methodologies.
• Work with our engineering principles: Simple Design, Behavior Driven Development, Continuous Delivery, and Kanban/Future lean styles.
• Build a momentum of delivery through incremental feedback cycles and updates, collaborating as a true team.

We're Looking For People Who Have

• Working experience as a software developer.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining applications using Python.
• Comfort commuting to the office minimum 2 times a week, in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
• Familiarity with our technical stack; a full stack engineer with bias toward either frontend or backend is acceptable.
• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with BDD & TDD, CI/CD, pair programming, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: familiarity with Node, React, Typescript, Postgres, Mongo, AWS.
• Desire to work in a collaborative, productive environment and stay up to date with technology.
