Job Description JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer (CDS) SALARY: £72,702 - £80,780 LOCATION(S): Bristol HOURS: Full-time - 35 hours per week WORKING PATTERN : Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Bristol office sites. Knowledge of below, but please do not worry if you don't have all, we can work with you to build your skills Direct Software Engineering background creating extensive Java applications with DevOps Experienced with diverse tools, techniques, and platforms. Emphasizes verifying functionality and accuracy Experience in developing with Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs, Spring boot, JSON, Microservices, Kafka, and Postgres Solid grasp of architecture and cloud-native principles along with algorithms and data structures Experience handling container environments, specifically Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS), preferably GCP Experienced in automating CI/CD using tools such as Jenkins, Spinnaker And any experience of these would be great Experience with MDM, reference data, IBM product master and Mainframe Awareness of Agile values and principles.We know that great talent comes from many backgrounds.
