Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join one of our leading clients in the financial services industry, located in Galway. You'll be working on both client and server-side development within a collaborative Agile environment, helping to shape future-ready solutions in a complex and fast-moving domain.

What we're looking for:

7+ years of software development experience

Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs

Proven knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools

Experience with Angular is a plus

Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum and distributed team environments

Familiarity with database technologies

What you'll be doing:

Designing and delivering high-quality, maintainable software solutions in an Agile environment

Contributing to automation testing and CI/CD pipeline improvements

Supporting AWS pipeline management and deployments

Participating in design/code reviews and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Engaging with business partners to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions

Providing production support when required

Location: Galway (Hybrid)
