Working on a greener world together with Google, Waze, Apple and Tesla and working on various backend projects written in Go (more) and PHP (less). As a software engineer, you will design, test and build new functionalities for our clients. Your challenge is to further develop and maintain the applications, data and security architecture. You will work in the domain of pricing data of charging stations around the world. The main language experience that we are looking for is Go. Activities include:

• Rebuilding critical components of our systems in Go to be ready for the future;
• Proactively identify and propose opportunities to improve the architecture and systems (performance, scalability, security, etc.);
• Provide input on priorities and (jointly) manage the roadmap.

Requirements

• Experience: Having 8+ years of professional, software engineering experience and at least 2 years hands on Go experience, working predominantly on professional projects. Next to this, we like to hire someone with system design experience and an engineer who can structure big data models, understand business context and who makes scalable and robust architecture for new product features;
• Tech Savvy Developer: Our stack uses Go, PHP (Laravel), Gitlab CI, Google Cloud Platform, MySQL, Postgres, Kubernetes, Docker, and more. It's nice if you're already familiar with our stack, but because you're experienced, we assume you'll quickly learn new tools if needed;
• Quality Oriented: Have experience with testing and passionate about code maintainability and readability;
• Team Spirit: Accountable, an effective communicator and a true team player;
• Adaptive Learner: Embrace a growth mindset - open to feedback, eager to learn, and always in sync with the latest technical advancements.
