Our client is a specialized digital agency with a team of 15 professionals. Their focus lies in designing data-driven strategies and translating them into practical, high-impact solutions. Rather than long-term delivery or maintenance, they concentrate on rapid validation, developing MVPs that enable clients to make informed decisions and iterate quickly.

In recent years, the company has transitioned to a focus on B2B domains, with an increasing emphasis on data maturity and professional users. This includes integrating AI capabilities into their proposition and strengthening their data infrastructure through both qualitative and quantitative insights.

The Role:

As Solution Architect, you will play a key role in setting the technical direction of client projects, primarily focused on backend and data platform architecture. You'll collaborate closely with the CTO at the beginning, but work more autonomously on the go. In general, you will be contributing to both the design and early implementation phases of data-intensive projects. They like someone who makes suggestions on new technologies and approaches.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing scalable backend and data platform architectures.
• Translating business and strategy into technical solutions.
• Evaluating and applying AI/ML technologies where relevant.
• Working alongside the team in a hybrid consultancy/building role.
• Hands-on coding if you like.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in backend architecture and/or data platforms.
• Familiar with technologies such as Azure, TypeScript/NestJS, Python, and API design. This is no hard requirement, but a preference.
• Able to balance conceptual thinking with practical execution.
• Interest in AI/ML and how it can enhance business outcomes.
• Comfortable working in Dutch environments (fluent Dutch not required, but speaking at B2 is).

Offer:

• Salary range: €5,000 - €6,500, depending on experience.
• Hybrid working: primarily remote, with occasional on-site meetings. At the beginning of a project, this can be 1-2 per week.
