We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Royal London. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise to help our teams design, develop, test, and implement efficient solutions that meet business and customer requirements.

The successful candidate will have a significant impact on how Royal London develops our applications. This role is centered on evolving the technology stack supporting our Protection products and customers.

About the role

• Work with a technology stack including Angular SPAs, .NET Web APIs, and SQL Databases.
• Develop technical solutions and manage your own workload.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to other developers.
• Ensure all code adheres to Royal London Group standards and quality gates.
• Collaborate closely with other disciplines within the team.
• Share knowledge and experiences related to your technical expertise.

About you

• Hands-on experience in .NET and Angular, delivering and leading changes on complex applications.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Supportive team player with stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Motivated to develop technical skills in emerging technologies.
