Senior Software Developer - React/TypeScript/Node.js (Contract, SC Cleared)

Day Rate: Up to £600 - £800 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: Fully onsite, 5 days/week (secure client site)
Clearance: Active SC clearance required

About the Role:
Methods Business & Digital Technology are looking for a Senior Software Developer with strong experience in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks. You'll be Embedded in a secure client environment, building and supporting applications that underpin critical cyber operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js

• Contribute to architecture and technical design in a secure setting

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code aligned to best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions

• Troubleshoot and optimise applications for performance and scalability

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js

• Solid understanding of Front End and Back End integration

• Familiarity with modern DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments

• Active SC clearance (must-have, no exceptions)
