Senior Software Developer - Active SC (Contract)

Location: UK - Remote with on-site attendance once per month
(On-site location may vary and could include Sheffield, Leeds, or London)
Contract Length: Initial 3 months
Start Date: ASAP
Security Clearance: Active SC clearance required

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer for an initial 3-month contract. This role is Front End focused and requires strong JavaScript expertise, with the ability to work effectively in a secure environment.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong experience as a Senior Software Developer
• Front End focused development background
• Strong commercial experience with:
  • JavaScript
  • TypeScript
  • Node.js
  • Nunjucks
• Proven experience working with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Comfortable working in agile, delivery-focused teams
• Able to work independently and hit the ground running

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Ruby
• Experience designing or consuming APIs

• Candidates must hold active SC clearance
• Flexibility to attend site once per month
• On-site location may change monthly (Sheffield, Leeds, or London)
