This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced, multi-agency environment where your expertise will directly contribute to safeguarding vulnerable children and young people.The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH ) brings together key professionals from across partner agencies to facilitate effective information sharing, analysis, and decision-making. The team plays a vital role in ensuring children and young people receive the right support at the right time through robust safeguarding processes and collaborative working.This is not a case-holding role. Instead, you will be responsible for managing incoming contacts and information to support timely safeguarding decisions. Key responsibilities Managing contact records and referrals. Processing and coordinating information requests. Undertaking probation checks and information gathering. Participating in and contributing to strategy discussions. Working collaboratively with partner agencies to support effective safeguarding decision-making. Ensuring accurate record keeping and timely processing of information. Skills/Experience Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration. Experience working within Children's Services. Strong understanding of safeguarding processes and thresholds. Ability to analyse information and make informed recommendations. Excellent communication and partnership-working skills. Previous MASH experience is desirable. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-volume environment. Working Arrangements Full office attendance required during the induction and training period. Following successful induction and once established within the team, candidates may work from home up to 2 days per week.
