Senior SAP SD Consultant

One of our clients is in the middle of a global SAP S/4 HANA transformation programme and is looking for an experienced Senior SAP SD Consultant with experience in Spare Parts & Workflow to join their team on a contract basis.

This position is critical for the Spare Parts scope team. The primary technical objective is the architecture and delivery of the Spare Parts-specific Filter Workflows in SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Workflow Architecture: Design and implement Filter Workflows within S/4HANA to manage the unique approval and distribution logic for Spare Parts across global hubs.
• Sales & Distribution: Configure Sales Orders (SO), Outbound Deliveries, and Billing specifically for the Diagnostics (DIA) hub-and-spoke model.
• Intercompany Alignment: Collaborate with MM counterparts to ensure seamless Intercompany Sales/Billing alignment.
• Backlog Excellence: Drive the refinement of the team backlog in Jira, ensuring technical dependencies for workflows are identified early in the PI.

Technical & Professional Requirements:

• Extensive SAP SD experience, with specific expertise in S/4HANA Workflow configuration and management.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Spare Parts logistics (Material substitution, returns, and repairable flows).
• Industry Experience: Experience with medical device distribution or pharmaceuticals is highly beneficial.
• Tools: Advanced knowledge of Jira/Agile and SolMan.

This role can be done mostly remote, but the client is looking for someone who is based in Europe.
