Senior SAP MDG Developer- 6 months (temp to perm) - Remote - EU

Our client is a global organisation undergoing a large-scale digital transformation. They are investing heavily in Master Data excellence and scalable SAP solutions, offering a stable environment, international exposure, and long-term project continuity.

As a Senior SAP MDG Developer, you will design, develop, and enhance SAP MDG and ABAP-based solutions that support enterprise-wide data governance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient SAP MDG solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAP MDG solutions using ABAP, workflows, interfaces, and RICEF objects.
• Create and improve SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and OData services.
• Analyse and resolve issues in SAP MDG environments, including debugging and root-cause identification.
• Produce clear technical documentation and support testing activities (unit, integration, UAT).
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and functional teams to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across SAP MDG and Master Data processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of SAP development experience (MDG, ABAP, workflows, BAdIs, BRF+, OO ABAP).
• Strong expertise in SAP MDG frameworks and Master Data governance principles.
• Proven ability to write, debug, and optimize ABAP code and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Hands-on experience with Fiori/UI5 development and OData services.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA, replication models, SOA Manager configurations, and MDG workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in distributed, multicultural teams.
