Senior SAP ABAP Developer

We are looking for a.Senior SAP ABAP Developer* to join an ERP team within a large business and IT transformation environment.

The consultant will support internal departments such as HR, Finance, Purchasing, Logistics and Communication by maintaining, improving and developing SAP-based solutions. The role requires a highly experienced ABAP developer able to work closely with business analysts, architects and technical teams to deliver reliable, maintainable and well-documented solutions.

*Key responsibilities*

* Collaborate with Business Analysts and Architects to define technical solutions.

* Write technical specifications based on functional requirements.

* Estimate workload, effort and cost related to changes.

* Assess the technical impact of changes on the existing SAP landscape.

* Develop, adapt and maintain ABAP-based applications.

* Ensure service continuity and long-term maintainability of the solutions.

* Update reference and technical documentation.

* Develop and execute unit test plans.

* Work in line with internal methods, standards and procedures.

* Support integrations with Middleware, web services and other applications.

*Must-have skills*

* Minimum 10 years of proven experience as an ABAP Developer.

* Strong experience with ABAP and ABAP OO.

* Minimum 3 years of proven experience with SAP Fiori.

* Strong experience with SAP Workflows.

* Experience with ABAP development tools such as Web Dynpro, IDocs and related technologies.

* Experience with interface Middleware outside SAP.

* Experience with Web Services.

* Fluent in at least one national language: French or Dutch.

*Important additional skills*

* Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

* Experience with SAP modules such as SD, EWM, MM, FI, CO or PM.

* Experience with Smartforms and Adobe Forms.

* Previous experience in the energy sector is a plus.
