Senior Sales Manager - Whitbread - Dunstable

Location: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 1-2 days visiting customers) at Whitbread Court, Dunstable (LU5 5XE)

We are recruiting a Senior Sales Manager reporting to the Sales & Distribution Director. Our goal is to grow our business through new acquisitions and leveraging existing relationships. We seek a professional, skilled leader to drive this growth and lead our team effectively.

What you'll do:

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 17 members to maximize revenue through a high-performance sales culture
• Negotiate and manage complex B2B commercial partnerships to increase market share
• Collaborate with Sales Operations to improve sales pipeline management and performance reporting
• Build relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams
• Share customer insights with marketing teams to refine messaging
• Identify customer spending trends and adapt strategies accordingly
• Develop sales strategies for direct corporate relationships
• Work with Finance to review and enhance reward models for corporate clients
• Expand revenue from large corporations via strategic account management

What you'll need:

• Proven success in a commercial environment, especially in growing corporate accounts
• Experience leading and coaching sales/account management teams
• Strong business and customer judgment
• Numerate and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies
• Negotiation training
• Experience with CRM systems, preferably Dynamics
• Experience in business travel (hotels, airlines) is a plus but not essential
