Brief Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimisation of cutting-edge RF systems for wideband, passive-sensing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop wideband RF front-ends (70 MHz-6 GHz), including filters, LNAs, mixers, and oscillators for passive detection systems.
• Integrate RF hardware with SDR/FPGA-based processing chains for real-time signal acquisition and processing.
• Conduct RF performance analysis, including link budgets, noise figure optimisation, and interference mitigation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with embedded, systems, and software teams to deliver high-reliability, field-ready solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience (5+ years) designing and testing RF systems, ideally in aerospace or defence
• Strong hands-on expertise with RF lab equipment such as spectrum analysers, signal generators, etc.
• Proficiency in RF simulation and design tools (e.g., HFSS, CST, Keysight ADS, MATLAB).
• Experience working with SDR platforms and signal processing architectures.
• Solid understanding of EMC compliance, RF shielding, and regulatory standards
