Senior Renewable Energy & Energy Storage Expert (Cat. II)

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: Public Sector Loan Facility Advisory for the Maritsa East Complex and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

Location: Bulgaria.

Duration: The intended start date is July 2025 (the "Start Date") and the period of implementation of the Assignment will be 20 months from this date (the "Period of Implementation").

Key Expert: Senior Renewable Energy & Energy Storage Expert (Cat. II)

️ Qualifications and skills:

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field (minimum requirement).
• Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English (minimum requirement).
• Proficiency in solar modelling and energy simulation tools (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, HOMER, or similar) will be considered an asset.

️ General professional experience:

• At least 10 years of professional experience in renewable energy project development, energy storage systems, and feasibility studies (minimum requirement).

️ Specific professional experience:

• Experience in technical and economic assessments of large-scale renewable energy projects as demonstrated by 3 projects (minimum requirement).
• Experience in the design, feasibility assessment, and development of solar PV and energy storage projects as demonstrated in at least 3 projects in the expert's CV (minimum requirement).
• Experience conducting grid impact assessments and integration studies for renewable energy projects will be considered an asset.
• Strong understanding of EU renewable energy regulations, permitting, and funding mechanisms will be considered an asset.
• Experience working on coal transition regions within EU countries will be considered an asset.
