As we continue to grow our Irish business, we are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Recruitment Consultant to join our team.
The RoleThis is a 360 Senior Recruitment Consultant role, combining candidate delivery, account management and business development.
You will take ownership of your market, developing relationships with existing clients while identifying and winning new business. You'll work closely with hiring managers to understand their requirements, source the right talent and manage the recruitment process from initial job brief through to placement.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job intake through to offer and onboarding.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.
- Source candidates proactively through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking and direct approaches.
- Build and maintain a strong technical candidate network.
- Conduct candidate screening and interviews.
- Manage the interview, offer and placement process.
- Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for additional business.
- Generate new business through research, referrals, networking and cold calling.
- Conduct client meetings and detailed job intake meetings.
- Identify new accounts and build long-term client relationships.
- Attend client meetings, networking events and industry events when required.
- Work closely with the wider Sterling Engineering team to identify and develop opportunities across Ireland and EMEA.
- Maintain accurate CRM activity and work towards agreed individual and team targets.
- About You
- Ideally have 5 to 6 years recruitment experience, preferably within engineering, manufacturing, MedTech, Life Sciences or technology.
- Have experience recruiting within Ireland and/or EMEA.
- Enjoy both candidate delivery and business development.
- Be comfortable picking up the phone, developing relationships and generating new opportunities.
- Have strong communication, negotiation and closing skills.
- Be able to understand technical requirements and identify the right talent.
- Be organised and capable of managing multiple clients, vacancies and priorities.
- Be resilient, tenacious and comfortable working towards targets.
- Have a strong work ethic and consistent approach to follow-up.
- Be confident dealing with people at all levels, including hiring managers and senior leadership.
- Be willing to travel for client meetings and business development opportunities.
- Most importantly, have the drive and ambition to build a successful career and develop your own market within Sterling Engineering.
