Senior React Developer

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a leading global technology firm building a cutting-edge engineering hub in Belfast, focused on delivering innovative software solutions used worldwide. As part of an exciting growth phase, the Belfast office is seeking experienced Senior React Engineers to help design and develop next-generation web applications that drive critical business outcomes.

Location: Belfast (Hybrid) Type: Full-Time Permanent

What you'll do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain high-quality, scalable frontend applications using React, Typescript, and modern web technologies
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in frontend engineering
• Experiment with new frameworks and tools to continuously improve development workflows and product quality

What we're looking for

• Proven hands-on experience building complex applications with React and Typescript
• Strong understanding of frontend technologies including CSS, HTML5, and responsive design
• Experience working in Agile teams and collaborative environments
• Knowledge of cloud platforms is advantageous
• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• Financial services experience is beneficial but not essential
