This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute professional to take ownership of projects from tender through to final account, ensuring strong commercial performance, contractual compliance, and successful project delivery. You will play a key role in managing commercial risk, maximising value, and supporting operational teams throughout the project lifecycle while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Take responsibility for the commercial performance of projects from tender stage through to final account. Lead cost management, forecasting, cashflow reporting, CVRs, and financial controls. Manage contract administration and ensure compliance with NEC, JCT and/or ICHEME contracts. Lead change control processes, variations, claims, and commercial recovery strategies. Oversee subcontract procurement, administration, and commercial management activities. Prepare and negotiate interim applications for payment and support debt recovery activities. Identify commercial risks and opportunities and implement effective mitigation plans. Work closely with Project Managers and site teams to achieve contractual and financial objectives. Provide leadership and mentoring to junior commercial staff. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. 7-10 years' experience within a Quantity Surveying or commercial role. Strong working knowledge of NEC, JCT and/or ICHEME contracts. Experience managing projects through the full commercial lifecycle. Excellent commercial acumen with strong forecasting, reporting, and final account experience. Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Previous experience leading commercial discussions and managing contractual risk. Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance (SC). Desirable Chartered status or working towards MRICS. CSCS Card. Experience delivering complex engineering, infrastructure, construction, or industrial projects. What's on Offer? Competitive salary and benefits package.
