With new sites due to commence in the near future, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team based in our Cheadle Office.

About us:

PH Homes is a multi award winning residential property developer, founded 30 years ago, specialising in luxury traditional and contemporary homes in the UK and Mallorca.

Duties include the following: -

Assisting in feasibility studies and compiling budgets.

Preparing tender and sub-contract documents, including individual trade specifications.

Preparing and analysing costings for tenders.

Advising on procurement strategy and sub-contractor selection.

Performing risk and value management and cost control.

Valuing completed work and arranging payments.

Producing construction cost reconciliation reports.

Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations, implementing associated processes.

Maintain effective communication with company management, QS, sub-contractors, client, and supply chain.

Skills

Ability to run their own projects (potential to step up into a Managing Surveyors role in the near future).

Current or recent experience in residential property development.

Current and relevant knowledge of building processes and applicable statutory requirements.

Strong IT skills.

Experience of budget management.

Ability to plan and organise workload and to be flexible in approach.

Proactive and capable of meeting deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £50,000.00 per year
