Job Description
Role Purpose

The Senior Quantity Surveyor has overall responsibility for the commercial management and financial performance of industrial services projects and contracts. The role ensures robust cost control, contract administration, risk management and commercial governance across multiple projects while supporting profitable growth and protecting the company's commercial interests.

The position acts as a key business partner to operational leadership, clients and senior management, providing commercial insight and strategic support to maximise contract performance and margin delivery.

The successful candidate will be a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor who combines strong financial discipline with excellent stakeholder management skills. They will provide commercial leadership across the division, ensuring that projects are delivered profitably while supporting operational teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

Experience Required
  • Significant Quantity Surveying experience within industrial services, construction, engineering, utilities or infrastructure sectors.
  • Experience managing large-scale contracts and complex commercial arrangements.
  • Strong contract administration and commercial negotiation skills.
  • Experience leading commercial teams and mentoring developing surveyors.
  • Proven track record of improving financial and commercial performance.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related discipline.
  • Professional accreditation (RICS, SCSI or equivalent) desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction and engineering contracts.
