Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Location: Plymouth, Devon, United Kingdom

The Role

This position offers the opportunity to manage your own workload across a variety of significant projects. You will act as a key representative of the consultancy, managing client relationships and ensuring project delivery excellence throughout the Devon region.

Candidate Requirements
  • Experience: Background working with a multidisciplinary construction consultancy or a specialist chartered quantity surveying firm. Candidates currently working for a main contractor who are looking to transition into a consultancy role are also encouraged to apply.

  • Sector Expertise: Experience in private residential, commercial, mixed-use, education, or healthcare projects.

  • Education: A degree in a construction-related subject, ideally an RICS-accredited qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.

  • Professional Status: MRICS Chartered status is a bonus but is not a requirement. Our client has an exceptional pass rate and provides full support for those working towards their APC.

  • Mobility: A full, clean UK driving licence is required as the role involves regional travel across Devon.

  • Personal Attributes: Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective client relationships. We are looking for someone with a desire to mentor junior staff as the team continues to expand.

  • Right to Work: Candidates must possess a valid right to live and work in the United Kingdom. Sponsorship and visa support are not available for this role.

Salary and Benefits
  • Basic Salary: 43,000 to 50,000 GBP per annum.
