Senior Quantity Surevyor - Main Contractor - Readin

Overview

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor - Reading, permanent position. Leading Tier One contractor, salary £75,000 £85,000 plus additional package. Valuation and commercial management on high profile projects (£15m £50m) under JCT contract.

Responsibilities

• Maximise commercial position and protect contractual interests.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure compliance with governance and procedural requirements.
• Lead valuation processes and develop initial project budgets with Senior Commercial Manager.
• Ensure insurance arrangements, procurement routes and selection of subcontractors.
• Prepare and monitor bid package tender schedules, chair meetings with design team and subcontractors.
• Manage change process with the extended team.

Qualifications

• Extensive main contracting experience, especially on projects £5M+.
• Proven commercial role experience with fit out teams.
• In depth knowledge of JCT form of contracts.
• Strong communication skills, ability to build trust and confidence.
• Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
