Senior Quality Lead (freelance)

For one of the pioneers in Biotech industry when it comes to genomics revolution and referred partner for many leading brands in various industries, NES Fircroft is looking for a Senior quality lead (interim) that will oversee activities in a clinical- or test-lab environment (non-GMP), managing a QA team, and translating company strategy into actionable quality programs.

Reports to: CEO

Location: On-site, 3 days/week

Length : 6 months

Responsibilities

• Translate company strategy into a structured Quality roadmap and actionable QA projects.
• Perform a comprehensive gap analysis across processes, documentation, training, and compliance; develop and monitor improvement plans.
• Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to the QA Manager and 3 QA specialists, elevating team capability and quality culture.
• Ensure alignment with GxP standards (GLP, GCLP, GCP), focusing on data integrity, risk management, and audit readiness.
• Standardize QA processes and documentation to support scalability and compliance.
• Drive accountability and introduce best practices for regulated laboratory environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in QA leadership within clinical labs, test labs, or CRO environments
• Strong knowledge of GxP quality systems; GMP-only backgrounds are not suitable.
• Availability for an on-site commitment of 3 days per week for 6 months.
