Senior Quality Inspector

Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking Senior Quality Inspectors to join their team in Barrow on a 12-month contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high stakes projects within the submarine solutions division and ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Analyse and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Document and report any discrepancies or issues found during inspections
• Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve quality related issues
• Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and findingsProvide input on the development and improvement of quality inspection procedures
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements

Job Requirements:

• Experience in Quality Engineering, preferably within the Defence & Security sector
• Strong understanding of quality standards and inspection techniques
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work effectively under shift patterns, including night shifts
• Commitment to maintaining high quality standards and continuous improvement
