You will play a pivotal role in shaping our QA strategy, providing expert guidance to development teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will be responsible for both manual QA and the development of robust automation frameworks. Your deep understanding of system architecture and passion for user experience will be essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, seamless products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the QA strategy for all products, providing guidance and mentorship to developers and manual QA testers on best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders, throughout the software development lifecycle, utilizing a wide variety of technologies.
  • Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, communicating effectively about issues, project risks, and product quality.
  • Conduct functional testing across front-end/back-end web, iOS, Android, and internal applications.
  • Develop automated test scripts, test frameworks, and testing tools to support fast-paced software delivery. Find solutions to support end-to-end test coverage.
  • Manage and triage inbound bug reports, investigating and replicating customer-reported issues to identify root causes and provide detailed reports for engineering and product management.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and maintain regression suites using 3rd party tools.
  • Work independently with meticulous attention to detail, delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide insightful recommendations for enhancing user experience based on testing outcomes.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment where continuous testing of new features is essential.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with automation testing methodologies, frameworks, tools, and techniques (e.g., Cypress).
  • Familiarity with mobile and desktop hardware, software, and debugging tools.
  • Experience with performance testing and SQA automation.
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools and data platforms (eg. Google Analytics, BigQuery, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager). A strong understanding of data management is a plus.
  • Experience with continuous integration tools (eg. Jenkins, Cruise Control, Bamboo).
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Experience with code repositories, such as Git.
  • Experience with API testing using platforms like Postman is a plus.
