Senior Technical Project Manager - Disability Services (Chief Assistant Technical Services Officer)

Galway (Merlin Park University Hospital) 24-Month Contract (with possible extension or permanency) €80,676+ HSE Capital & Estates

We are excited to partner again with the HSE Capital & Estates (West Region) to recruit Senior Technical Project Managers to support the delivery of essential infrastructure in disability care settings.

This is a unique opportunity to lead impactful projects that directly improve the quality of care for service users across Ireland.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of capital projects in disability services
• Manage design teams, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Oversee budgets, timelines, and compliance (HIQA, fire safety, infection control)
• Drive quality, risk management, and project performance
• Support infrastructure planning, maintenance, and sustainability initiatives

What we're looking for

• Level 8+ in Engineering, Architecture, or Surveying
• Chartered status (Engineers Ireland, RIAI, SCSI, RICS, or equivalent)
• 7+ years' experience in construction/project delivery
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability
• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments highly desirable

• Proficiency in reporting and IT systems
