Job description

An excellent opportunity to work for a global transportation business, delivering some of the largest and most complex heavy machinery/equipment and relocation projects.

Owns the overall planning, coordination, and control of a capital project or programme across design, procurement, construction, and installation phases.

The Project Manager is accountable for safe delivery of the package on time, on cost and on quality, from award through handover.

• Lead the project from award and mobilisation through installation, commissioning support and handover, as the single point of contact for the client's construction-management team

Electrical & instrumentation installation, two production buildings, pharmaceutical new-build

Key Requirements

• Proven project management of electrical and/or instrumentation installation packages on large industrial sites;
• At least one comparable project (roughly €20m+ or 100+ trades at peak) delivered largely through subcontractors
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical or other process plants, ideally including cleanrooms (GMP) and hazardous areas (ATEX)
• Working knowledge of German electrical standards (DIN VDE), site regulations and German construction contracts (VOB/B), or a clear track record of delivering in Germany
• Strong planning and cost control: Primavera P6, earned value, productivity tracking and forecasting
