An outstanding opportunity has arisen with one of the world's leading international law firms. The firm advises many of the world's largest corporations, financial institutions and governments on highly complex, cross border matters. As part of its continued investment in legal innovation and client service excellence, the firm is looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager within legal operations. This is a highly visible role, partnering with senior lawyers and clients to improve matter delivery, operational efficiency and profitability across some of the firm's most strategic engagements.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager

• Lead complex legal projects - Manage high profile legal matters from planning through to delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
• Partner with lawyers and clients - Work closely with Partners, legal teams and clients to improve collaboration, project delivery and the overall client experience.
• Drive operational excellence - Introduce Legal Project Management best practice, improve processes and support more efficient delivery across the firm.
• Manage financial performance - Oversee budgets, resource planning and profitability, providing commercial insight throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop capability and influence change - Mentor junior team members, deliver training and help expand the firm's global Legal Project Management function.

Skills & Attributes of the Senior Project Manager

• Project Management expertise - Proven experience delivering complex projects (ideally within legal operations) within an international law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong stakeholder management - Able to build trusted relationships and influence Partners, senior stakeholders and clients.
• Commercially minded - Strong understanding of budgeting, profitability, resource planning and financial reporting.
• Excellent project leadership - Experienced managing multiple projects using recognised project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
• Professional qualifications - PMP, APM or equivalent project management qualification, supported by excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills.
