Senior Project Manager - Wind, Solar, Battery Storage

Salary Range DOE: €75,000 - 95,000 + wider benefits

Piper Maddox are currently supporting a long standing leader in the Irish Renewable Energy sector to add to their growing team with the hire of a Senior Project Manager.

Our client are a fully fledged IPP with a strong track record in taking projects through development, delivery, construction, and into operation. They have a diverse portfolio of large scale renewable energy assets covering technologies such as Onshore Wind, Solar, and BESS projects.

They have a very strong and significant pipeline of projects in various stages of development, hence this hire which will be crucial in overseeing the progress of these projects from development into delivery processes. This company is looking to bring on a candidate with between 6-10 years of experience in the field.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing key development milestones alongside internal and external contacts. Matters including finalizing the land transaction, securing grid connection, and planning consents.
• Later stage development matters once a project reaches planning consent. This includes discharge of planning conditions, and ensuring compliance with the lease agreements.
• Key PMO responsibilities such as monitoring financial budgets, timelines, and ensuring clear reporting upwards on project progress to senior management.
• Working alongside the construction function to ensure smooth progression into the construction phase alongside internal and external stakeholders/contractors.

While a background in renewable energy would be ideal, we are open to reviewing profiles coming from transferable backgrounds such as utilities or major infrastructure.
