Opportunity: Senior Project Manager

Location: Greater Manchester

Rate: Negotiable and Competitive

Duration: 8-12 months +

IR35: Inside

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a Major projects team with the delivery of a rail station redevelopment project.

Responsibilities

Support the management of complex stakeholder relationships.
Strategic management of project information flows between the delivery team and the client.
Supporting the public and stakeholder consultation process for the proposed station redevelopment, access packages etc.
Overseeing the development of cost estimates, budget monitoring, review of contractors' valuations/invoices and production of spend profiles.
During the construction period of schemes attend site on a regular basis to review progress, quality, site management and liaise with the contractors to programme future work.
Ensuring that accurate financial information (including forecasting) is provided in relation to ensuring the services business objectives are met.

Qualifications

Experience of working as a client-side Project Manager / Programme Manager through delivery stages of projects and be suitably qualified.
Experience in project managing rail station development or similar schemes through feasibility to construction.
Experience of providing leadership within a complex partnering environment.
Experience of developing and implementing risk management strategies.
