Overview

Roc Search Tech are urgently seeking a Senior Project Manager for a 9 month contract to work for our FinTech client in London, working on an offshore banking project.

9 months, 5 days a week
Start: ASAP
Outside IR35
Remote - with fortnightly travel to client site and London (for first 3 months of the project only)

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced, results-driven contract Project Manager to lead the pre-project phase of a strategic initiative assessing the viability of a new FX platform for our client's banking client. This role is critical in shaping the direction of the project and ensuring all foundational elements are clearly understood and documented.

• Lead the discovery of "to-be" plans, governance frameworks, RAID logs, comms plan, delivery roadmap
• Potential Tax implications of booking and settling FX transactions
• KYC and CDD requirements for onboarding customers in different jurisdictions. Taking local and Group requirements into account
• Income reporting and impacts on the bank's P&L and balance sheet
• Local regulatory notifications and permissions required to offer regulated products to banking customers. Any other regulatory considerations
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and validate assumptions
• Produce clear, concise documentation and recommendations to support go/no-go decisions
• Work closely with compliance, finance, legal, and technology teams to ensure all aspects are considered.
