Senior Project Manager needed in Huntingdon, £370.44 per day PAYE - Reference: RQ

The development and delivery of major transport infrastructure is vital to the future economic wellbeing of Greater Cambridge.

The Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP) Transport programme is a cornerstone of the City Deal initiative, aiming to develop a sustainable transport network for Greater Cambridge that keeps people, businesses, and ideas connected. As the area continues to grow, the programme focuses on making it easy to get into, out of, and around Cambridge by public transport, bike, and foot.

The Major Infrastructure Delivery Project Manager will be responsible for delivering major initiatives costing hundreds of millions of pounds. The role reports to the GCP Transport Director and ultimately to the GCP Executive Board, ensuring the successful implementation of projects.

This role involves managing one or more projects within the GCP Transport Programme, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of major schemes across various transport projects. Key responsibilities include defining service outcomes related to service change, modal shift, maximizing contract savings, and achieving value for money.

This is a part-time, temporary contract role.
