Senior Project Manager - Construction Consultancy

Location:Birmingham (Newhall Street)
Type:Full-time, permanent
Salary: £45,000-£60,000 + bonus + benefits

An expanding consultancy is seeking a delivery-focused Senior Project Manager to play a pivotal role within its Birmingham team. With a strong pipeline of work across multiple sectors, this is your opportunity to step into a leadership role, mentor others, and shape major projects from the front.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead multiple high-value projects across the full lifecycle
• Act as the primary client contact, delivering trusted advice and results
• Manage design and contractor teams to ensure quality and programme control
• Oversee budgets, contract administration (JCT/NEC), and risk management
• Mentor junior team members and support business development efforts

What We're Looking For:

• Degree-qualified in a construction-related field
• At least 3+ years of consultancy-based PM experience (senior or ready to step up)
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Track record of project delivery across sectors (e.g. education, healthcare, commercial)
• Local to the West Midlands and flexible to travel
• Chartership (APM/RICS) or working towards it preferred
