About the opportunity
We are expanding rapidly with deployments underway across the world, and require a talented individual to join our growing project management team that is responsible for the delivery of our payments capability to our customers and partners. Examples of these projects include:
- Contactless payment validator integrations to our payments processing system
- Integrations with acquiring platforms and schemes in different regions
- Integration with associated fare calculation and back office software systems.
- Integration of Customer Portal / App / Websites submitting e-commerce transactions through our e-commerce gateway
- Onboarding new transit merchants within existing integration frameworks
- Manage project risks and issues to ensure a timely delivery of projects that transition smoothly into BAU operations
As Project Manager, you'll:
- Take ownership for the entire project lifecycle for transit deployments that require complex integration touch points and development, utilising both agile and waterfall frameworks
- Coordinate the completion of Scope of Works documentation depicting agreed integration methods among all associated parties in each project
- Work with technical stakeholders to analyse and resolve issues during integration projects, potentially requiring analysis of API calls or data to ensure 3rd parties are using our API-based products correctly and appropriately
- Take responsibility for the creation and upkeep of relevant project documentation such as Project Plans, RAID logs and RACI matrices
- Communicate confidently and professionally with all project stakeholders, in-line with project communication best practices, providing updates and escalations where necessary
- Provide feedback to the Product, Engineering, and Operations teams on improvements or development requests needed to support projects and deployments
- Support pre-sales resources in technical workshops to understand technical tasks needed in each integration project, and to explain our various products and services and how to integrate with them
- Collaborate with project management team to continuously improve project management practices, incorporating lessons learned and feedback from all stakeholders
- Work closely with the Operations team to prioritise, manage, and resolve project issues both while in project and immediately post-go-live
The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer success- working with vendors on the overall solution architecture needed to make our transit deployments successful, and driving project delivery through a combination of project management methods. They will be curious, always learning and brave enough to drive change in themselves and others. They will also be involved in driving company growth through workshops with clients and partners that often require proactive problem solving.
Ideally, you'll have:
- At least 3 years' experience with project delivery of technical solutions involving multiple integrating parties, preferably within Payments, FinTech or Financial Services.
- Demonstrated experience in managing integrations with transit payments systems, ePOS, card-present and/or card-not-present acquiring processing or transactional solutions, or transactional services that use cloud-based infrastructure
- The ability to interact with multidisciplinary stakeholders through high quality written and verbal communication
- The ability to work under pressure, and consistently meet tight deadlines while delivering multiple projects in parallel
- Agile project management experience, accompanied by a PMP or Prince2 qualification (or similar)

For those assigned to an office location, we generally expect a minimum two-day presence in the office each week. This may vary depending on your role, team, and location. For example, our team in Luxembourg works 100% from the office, whereas our AU and UK teams currently work a minimum of 2 days onsite in our Melbourne/London offices. Some positions might require more frequent office attendance to support cross-functional collaboration, customer engagement, or specific team workflows.
