Senior Project Manager - Smart Building Systems

RGB seeks a Senior Project Manager - Smart Building Systems for a major commercial scheme in Central London. This site-based contract offers £80,000-£90,000 per annum, a £5,000 car allowance, 25 days' holiday, Bupa healthcare, and pension. Working hours are 8:00am-5:00pm. You will direct ELV, BMS, energy, security, communications, and integration packages from delivery to handover. Responsibilities include managing the site team, controlling cost and programme, ensuring safe commercial delivery, and coordinating engineers. The Role

A Senior Project Manager is required to lead the delivery of smart building systems on a major commercial project in the City of London. This is a site-based role overseeing ELV, BMS, energy, security, communications and integration packages from delivery through to handover. You will be responsible for keeping the project on track, managing the team, controlling cost and programme, and making sure the work is delivered safely, commercially and to the required standard.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the site team and coordinate engineers, planners, commercial support, subcontractors and commissioning teams.
• Manage the programme, track progress and deal with issues before they impact delivery.
• Work closely with the commercial team on cost control, variations, payments and project reporting.
• Keep clients, consultants and internal teams updated through clear communication and regular meetings.
• Oversee quality, health and safety, compliance, commissioning and project close-out.

What We're Looking For

• Experience managing ELV, BMS, smart building, energy, security, communications or wider MEP packages.
• Strong project management background on major construction, fit-out or engineering-led projects.
• Good understanding of programme, cost, change, risk, quality and site delivery.
• Confident managing subcontractors and working with clients, consultants and internal teams.
• Organised, commercially aware and able to lead under pressure.
