Senior Project Engineer

We are partnering with a multi national medical device client in Galway to support with hiring a Senior Project Engineer to lead key initiatives across manufacturing, sustaining engineering and product lifecycle management. This role offers the opportunity to deliver impactful projects while working cross functionally in a fast paced, high performance setting. This is an initial 18 month contract role and is based onsite.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects with defined plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Support sustaining engineering and day to day manufacturing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and supply processes.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, R&D, and supply chain to resolve issues and deliver project goals.
• Influence stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution.
• Execute and adapt project plans in line with changing business needs.
• Support post market, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Apply structured problem solving techniques, including Lean and Six Sigma.

Requirements

• Level 8 degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience in project engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management, organisational, and problem solving skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work across cross functional teams.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
