Railpen takes a holistic view, focusing on how we serve members today and how we can positively impact the communities and the world they will retire into.To learn more about Railpen including our values, culture and purpose, visit our LinkedIn Life page The RoleAs a Senior Programme Lead, you will play a crucial role in the Change & Transformation team, overseeing the delivery of a large, complex, and multi-year programme that aligns with Railpen's strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the programme is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will establish effective delivery structures and promptly address any issues that arise. In this role, you will act as a partner and advisor, translating strategy and business plans into a cohesive change programme.This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The PersonWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Programme Lead with extensive experience in managing large, complex strategic programmes to a high standard. The role requires a strong background in programme and project management methods and principles, with a proven track record of delivering significant improvements in previous positions. You will have experience in platform delivery and will understand technical, integration and data complexity and how to mitigate risks in this space through a successful delivery of a new proposition and supporting operating model. Candidates should be adept at supporting various business areas and possess strong stakeholder management skills, including experience chairing governance meetings at all levels, up to and including C-suite executives. Experience with scheme design would be a distinct advantage, specifically supporting and challenging the business on the proposition and experience of leading the development and integration of scheme design into operational platforms. Pensions experience is preferred, as would any background in roles where the needs of members or customers are central to decision making.You'll need to be someone who embraces complexity, manages competing priorities, and communicates clearly at all levels. You should feel comfortable challenging the status quo, promoting change, and driving practical solutions.
