On behalf of one of our Dutch clients, we are currently seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Program Manager to lead enterprise-wide technology programs. This is a key leadership role within the Information Systems (IS) Project Management Office (PMO), responsible for driving complex initiatives that support long-term business transformation.

The ideal candidate brings deep program and project management experience, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across business, IS teams, and third-party vendors. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage major IS programs and associated projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Provide structured, audience-specific program updates to stakeholders ranging from project teams to senior executives.
• Identify and mitigate risks, manage resources, and resolve project roadblocks to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align on strategy, execution, and governance.
• Oversee program budgets and financial tracking, ensuring clear reporting and financial accountability.
• Manage and mentor project managers within assigned programs, ensuring alignment with PMO standards.
• Support the continual improvement of PMO methodologies and processes, using hybrid project delivery frameworks (Waterfall/Agile).
• Promote adherence to PMO tools, templates, and governance.
• Work closely with IS and business leadership to ensure program alignment with strategic priorities.
• Actively contribute to innovation, improvement, and knowledge sharing across the IS function.

Your Profile:

• Based in The Netherlands
• Be eligible to work in The Netherlands
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience delivering complex technology programs in a project or program management role.
• 15+ years in progressive project leadership roles, ideally within a PMO.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and financial management skills.
• 10+ years hands-on experience with Oracle ERP systems.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS-based solutions.
• Familiarity with vendor selection and management processes, including RFPs.
• Experience in planning and facilitating large meetings and executive reporting.
• Self-driven, collaborative, and adaptable to change.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Cloud based PAAS such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Smartsheet.
• Knowledge of change management and process documentation best practices.
• Background in Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership of teams and/or vendors in complex delivery environments.
• Proactive mindset with an interest in technology trends and continuous improvement.

• Languages: English to business level. Dutch is preferred. Spanish is a plus.
