Job Description

Alice & Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world's hardest problems.

The quantum computer we envision is based on a new type of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit. Compared to other superconducting platforms, cat qubits can implement quantum error correction autonomously!

We are at the forefront of the quantum race, competing with tech giants such as Google and IBM. After securing €100 million in funding in 2025, we are expanding rapidly to develop our unique technology.

Currently, our team consists of over 100 physicists, PhD students, engineers, and experienced business professionals. We are united in our ambition. Are you a quantum pioneer? Join us to reshape the future!

About the role

You will connect our cutting-edge quantum technology with the market, crafting clear messaging, leading product launches, and creating impactful content that resonates with target audiences. You will collaborate closely with R&D, sales, BD, and product teams to promote adoption and market fit.

As Alice & Bob's first Product Marketing Manager, you will build this function from scratch. With quantum computing entering a product-ready phase, you will be at the forefront of a new industry, gaining valuable expertise as a pioneer.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead: Own the strategy and execution for product launches, campaigns, and events within the marketing team.
  2. Research: Analyze the quantum computing market and competitors to define customer personas, market segments, and product positioning in collaboration with product managers.
  3. Build: Develop sales and partner enablement assets, including presentation decks, product scorecards, webinars, and demos.
  4. Evangelize: Translate product features into market-facing messaging and compelling stories. Produce thought leadership content such as white papers, reports, blogs, and represent A&B at trade shows and events.
  5. Collaborate: Work cross-functionally with product managers, marketing, BD, sales, and R&D to ensure alignment of product marketing plans.
  6. Present: Engage with internal stakeholders, synthesizing technology capabilities, marketing strategies, and product messages to ensure transparency and alignment across the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product marketing or management experience in deep-tech or computing sectors.
  • M.Sc in STEM (Physics, Mathematics, Engineering) or business fields (Marketing, Sales, Product); Ph.D. or MBA is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills in English, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts into customer-centric messaging.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in implementing result-oriented marketing campaigns, tracking, and analyzing data and performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of the product lifecycle, from development to launch, with a successful track record of product launches.
  • Proven project management skills and ability to influence stakeholders across functions.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work autonomously with minimal guidance.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with B2B hardware products, especially processing units and computing components.
  • Experience in high-performance computing (HPC) or advanced computing infrastructure sectors.
  • Knowledge of quantum technologies and physics.
  • Understanding of the computing stack (hardware, firmware, software).
  • Experience working with the North American market.

Benefits

  • 25-day vacation + RTT (French law)
  • Partial transportation cost coverage or yearly bike allowance
  • Health benefits with Helium/AXA
  • Meal vouchers with Swile and access to a fully equipped kitchen
  • Parental benefits with crèche support
  • Flexible remote work up to 40%
  • Language courses covered by the company
  • Mental health support via moka.care
  • Subsidized Urban Sports Club membership

Recruitment process

  • Screening call with Grace, Talent Acquisition Specialist (30 min)
  • Hiring manager interview with Niccolo (60 min)
  • Technical interview/presentation with the team (90 min)
  • Leadership/fit interview (45 min)
  • Reference check

Research indicates that women might hesitate to apply if they don't meet 100% of the requirements. We encourage applications from candidates who meet some but not all criteria. Our goal is to build innovative teams, not just check boxes.

Join one of France's most innovative startups at an early stage, and be part of a passionate, friendly team on a mission to build the first universal quantum computer!

We foster sharing and learning, providing space for innovation, development, and growth.
