We value thoughtful product leadership, open collaboration and continuous improvement. We actively champion diverse perspectives and experiences. You'll have the opportunity to influence at scale, learn from experienced peers, and contribute to platforms that support the BBC's public purpose for audiences across the UK and the world.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
  • Significant experience as a Product Manager leading complex digital or platform products end to end.
  • Strong ability to set product vision, strategy and roadmaps using data, insight and judgement to prioritise.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams on technically complex systems with confidence engaging on architectural and delivery trade offs.
  • Proven experience of agile product practices, including discovery, backlog management, and techniques such as story mapping.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience aligning diverse technical, editorial and business perspectives.
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

  • Experience managing or contributing to third party supplier relationships, including contract renewals or commercial decisions.
  • Experience evolving established platforms, integrating new technologies and workflows while maintaining service continuity and stability.

If you can bring some of these skills and experience, along with transferable strengths, we'd love to hear from you and encourage you to apply.

Before your start date, you may need to disclose any unspent convictions or police charges, in line with our Contracts of Employment and Recruitment policies. This allows us to discuss any support you may need and assess any risks. Failure to disclose may result in the withdrawal of your offer.
