Senior Product Manager

Procurement is the operating system of the global economy, yet it runs on emails, PDFs, and gut feelings. Zalion is changing this. We are building the world's first Agentic AI architecture to automate the source to pay lifecycle.

We are not building dashboards. We are building autonomous workers.

You will own a flagship vertical responsible for billions in industrial spend (e.g., RFQ Automation or Negotiations), driving it from an early pilot to the operating standard for the world's largest enterprises.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional SaaS PM role. You will not be managing a backlog of UI tickets. You will be:

Defining the cognitive architecture of agents that manage millions in spend

Solving the Trust Paradox: how do we design interfaces that give enterprises the confidence to let AI negotiate on their behalf

Bridging the gap between stochastic LLM outputs and deterministic enterprise requirements such as ERPs and legal compliance

What You Will Actually Do Own the Outcome, Not Just the Feature

You are responsible for the performance of your agents. If the agent hallucinates during a negotiation, that is a product problem, not only an engineering bug.

Drive Evaluation Driven Development

You will move beyond acceptance criteria and help define the Evals that measure agent reliability, reasoning, and success rates.

Wrangle Complexity

You will take messy, unstructured real world data such as supply chain emails and chaotic Excel sheets and turn them into structured primitives our agents can act on.

Ship at the Speed of AI

We ship weekly. You will balance the bleeding edge of model capabilities such as reasoning models and tool use with the stability required by industrial giants.

The Stack You Need (Requirements)

Product sense for the unknown and a track record of shipping products in high ambiguity environments such as zero to one launches or new category creation

Technical fluency. You do not need to code the model, but you must understand the constraints of LLMs such as context windows, RAG, and tool calling. You know that prompt engineering is only the start

Data first mindset. You are comfortable digging into logs, JSON payloads, and API responses to understand why a workflow failed

Enterprise empathy. You understand or are eager to learn that selling to a Fortune 500 CPO requires different reliability standards than a consumer app

4 plus years of experience, ideally in high growth B2B SaaS, AI or ML products, or complex marketplaces

Why You Might Not Like This Role

We do not have a playbook yet. You will be writing it

It is messy. Enterprise data is dirty. Integration is hard. If you prefer perfectly clean user stories, this is not for you

High accountability. You will be the CEO of your product area

Intensity is our baseline. We are racing to win a massive market. That means the pace is blistering, and "crunch time" is real. If you are looking for a predictable 9-to-5 where you can mentally clock out at the end of the day, you will struggle here.

Base: Competitive.
