This is a *Netherlands, Amsterdam* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on *Managing and executing category strategies for Legal, Consultancy and Professional Services.*

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Contracts Manager to provide cover for an existing Category Manager and ensure continuity across procurement, sourcing, supplier management and stakeholder engagement.

The role covers Legal, Consultancy and Professional Services, with responsibility for third-party contracts and supplier relationships across a global, multi-brand organisation with category spend exceeding $100 million.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute category strategies for Legal, Consultancy and Professional Services.
• Lead sourcing, RFPs, negotiations, renewals and contract management.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, risks and escalations.
• Identify savings and other commercial value through sourcing, benchmarking and supplier management.
• Build strong relationships with Legal, Finance, Procurement and other global stakeholders.
• Support procurement processes, policies and governance.
• Ensure a clear handover at the end of the assignment.

Requirements

• 8-12 years experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Experience in Legal, Consultancy, Professional Services or complex indirect procurement.
• Strong experience with RFPs, negotiations, contracts and supplier management.
• Good understanding of commercial models, rate cards and Statements of Work.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business, Finance, Law or a related field; professional qualification is a plus.
