This role is with one of Michael Page's large FTSE clients in the North London area who are going through a transformation.

Job Description
  • Responsible for the strategic procurement and commercial management of corporate services categories, including HR, IT, finance, legal and professional consultancy. The role covers the full procurement lifecycle.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement activity: market engagement, sourcing strategy, tendering, evaluation, contracting and supplier management.
  • Manage sourcing and performance for HR services including recruitment, learning & development and benefits.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify procurement and supply chain needs.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to achieve value for the organisation.
  • Analyse market trends to identify cost saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant regulations.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues effectively.
  • Provide strategic advice to internal teams on procurement and supply chain matters.
  • Lead and manage a team to achieve departmental goals.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Business Partner should have:

  • Extensive experience in indirect procurement across multiple categories and eager to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement procurement strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of contract performance
  • Capability to analyse market trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience in leading and managing a team effectively.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in procurement or supply chain management.
