Senior Practitioner Safeguarding Officer - Newtownabbey - (GP34/09/25/1v-1)

Salary: Grade 6 salary scale: £32,367- £39,583 per annum
Hours: 40 standard hours (including breaks) (Flexibility Required)
Contract Status: Permanent
Location: Flexibility with regards to base, however the successful candidate will be required to travel across Extern's estate and to head office in Co. Antrim as and when required

About the role:

This is a new role within Extern to support the Head of Safeguarding (HoS). To assist in the provision of effective and efficient safeguarding procedures and support the Head of Safeguarding in assurance to all companies in the Extern Group. The post holder will have specific responsibility for assisting the Head of Safeguarding in relation to the preparation of internal investigations, compilation of statistical reports and coordinating the support for the Head of Safeguarding in organising specific safeguarding training and reporting.
