As a Senior Portfolio Manager, you'll lead the development and execution of our global product portfolio management strategy, driving improvements in customer outcomes and commercial performance.You'll work cross-functionally to deliver strategic initiatives and tactical enhancements, oversee product governance and risk, and ensure that our products remain competitive, compliant, and customer-focused. This is a high-impact role at the heart of the Product & Proposition team, offering the opportunity to shape the future of our global product portfolio. Key Responsibilities Define and lead the global product portfolio management approach across all markets, driving increased revenue and profitability whilst exceeding customer needs. Lead the identification and delivery of enhancements to the global product portfolio in response to commercial opportunities, customer needs, and regulatory developments. Deliver regular product performance analysis, including dashboards and deep-dive reviews, to identify opportunities for improvement; and work collaboratively to deliver any recommended changes. Act as the team's strategic lead on a major systems re-platforming programme, driving requirements that unlock product portfolio improvements and enable future customer-centric product innovation. Identify and execute opportunities to rationalise or migrate products at a global book level, improving customer experience and commercial performance. Ensure robust product oversight and governance, with clear processes, policies and controls in place; and regular reviews that support regulatory compliance and good customer outcomes. Oversee risk management for the Product & Proposition function, including monitoring, controlling, and resolving product-related risk incidents. Manage the Product Approval Process, ensuring tools, templates, and support are in place to enable effective decision-making across the business. Lead annual assessments to ensure our products continue to deliver fair value to target customers, and that any required actions are completed. Manage and develop a Product Governance and Risk Specialist, prioritising workload and supporting career growth in alignment with global and local strategic objectives. What We're Looking For Proven experience managing product portfolios, ideally across multiple regulated markets, driving commercial performance and enhancing customer outcomes Strategic leadership skills with a track record of defining strategy, setting direction, and delivering cross-functional initiatives Strong people management and coaching abilities Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence and credibility to influence at all levels, challenge constructively, and build lasting relationships Clear and compelling communication and storytelling ability Commercially astute with strong analytical and numerical skills, the ability to turn data into actionable insights, and excellent attention to detail Sector experience in healthcare, insurance, or financial services preferred Understanding of IPMI products and market trends Benefits Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
