Senior PMO Manager (Delivery Focused)

On behalf of Tesco Bank, AMS are now looking for a Senior PMO Manager based in Edinburgh for an initial contract length of 6 months.

Purpose of the role:
As Senior PMO Manager you will join a major integration initiative, providing leadership across governance, planning, reporting, and assurance, ensuring successful delivery across six complex workstreams.
You will work closely with programme leadership, enabling effective decision-making and driving delivery outcomes in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.

What you'll do:

• Lead programme governance and assurance, including preparation of packs, running forums, and managing audit, risk, and assurance cycles.
• Oversee integrated planning across six workstreams, ensuring alignment, prioritisation, and adherence to frameworks.
• Manage RAID processes to influence delivery outcomes, not just maintain logs.
• Deliver accurate reporting and progress updates, facilitate workshops, and support senior stakeholder reviews.
• Provide financial oversight through forecasting, spend tracking, and variance reporting.
• Partner with delivery teams to manage change requests and impact assessments effectively.

The skills you'll need:

• Proven experience as a PMO Manager on large, complex programmes, within financial services environments.
• Strong knowledge of governance, planning, RAID management, reporting, and financial tracking.
• Ability to work with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Skilled in stakeholder management, with the confidence to challenge and influence at senior levels.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with a strong sense of ownership.
