Senior Planner (P6)

Our client BAE Systems, a leading organisation in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional - Planning to join their team on a 12-month contract, based in Barrow with hybrid working arrangements. This role is within the Submarine Solutions business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engaging in forecasting activities
• Liaising with the Integrated Delivery team
• Implementing change requests
• Planning and attending various meetings

Job Requirements:

• Experience as a planner within the defence or a high-risk industry such as oil and gas or rail
• Proficiency in P6 software and Excel
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Understanding of defence sector requirements, including ITAR and full SC clearance (UK Eyes only)
• Relevant qualifications and significant experience in using Primavera

About the Role:

This contract role is for a duration of 12 months initially. You will join a team of five people. The working pattern will include hybrid working, with an expectation of being onsite 1-2 days per month, specifically including every other Friday morning.

Security Clearance:

This position requires full SC clearance, UK Eyes only, and is subject to ITAR.
